This product is heavy and occupies space. It works well. However, remember there is a chip in every ink cartridge, and it is a real pain in your neck. Once ink in the cartridge is low all the functions are frozen and nothing (Fax/printer/scanner) works unless you install costly original Canon ink. There is no way around.
This prompted me to work with a company that is going to make a overriding device where you could do reset the chip multiple times. This product is now available in Europe, and it would be launched in U.S. shortly.
I have been using this product for more than 13 months,and bought it when it was priced 158 dollars. Now it is priced just over 100 dollars.
I would recommend this product if you are willing to pay for the costly original ink cartridge.

The Canon Pixma MP530 arrived in a timely fashion. It is an excellent machine, I am very happy with it. It prints excellent quality pictures and pretty good text. It is reasonably fast. It's scanner and the software to change text into editable text is outstanding! Setup was easy. The manual is all in English! I would highly recommend this machine!
And the price from Amazon was very good!

I've had the printer for over a year now and have been quite satisfied. For the price, it is a good deal and fairly ink efficient. the software for scanning and using pictures is also relatively easy to use.

this product is all it was stated to be we are very pleased with it.the printing is excellant,color is true,just a bit shaky when printing,but acceptable,fax,copy.photo great thanks for a great machine gene shursen

I'm very happy with the printer. Easy to install. I switched from an HP, because the printer would use so much ink that I had to buy Ink every week. The Canon on the other hand saves me alot of money on Ink. The Canon is very quiet and fast. Exellent machine.
