5 out of 5 stars GREAT ITEM, AMAZING HOLD!!!!   July 25, 2008
I was very skeptical before ordering this pad, because I really couldn't believe it would hold my navigation system, but it does! It is absolutely amazing how it holds the navigation with out any movement. I drove with it on rough rodes and on the freeway and it doesn't move. Also it's very easily removable and (the pad with the system attached) goes right into the compartment between the seats. I had my previous navigation system stolen from my car so I don't want to take any chances with a new one. This is great for anyone who's worried about leaving any signs of a navigation system in their car. (Also the $12.95 is as good as it gets.)

4 out of 5 stars Great idea, doesn't work for all GPS units   July 25, 2008
I purchased the TomTom 730 and set it up in the Bracketron...it sits too low! The glare is pretty significant so I have difficulty seeing the GPS unit. It would be nice if it came with a variety of heights to stick on to the unit to raise up the GPS unit so it can be tilted to reduce the glare. Overall good idea but definitely NOT for all GPS units.

5 out of 5 stars Pretty cool   July 25, 2008
Beats the heck out of sticking some disk to your dash! Stays where you put it, and holds a Magellan Maestro in place.

5 out of 5 stars Friction Dash Pad   July 25, 2008
Works very well. Stay in place during hard cornering and braking. Easy storing by putting under seat after parking to avoid attracting unwanted attention.

5 out of 5 stars Simple yet solid design   July 25, 2008
Wide base and flexibility of the dash pad makes this product easily conform to a sloping dashboard. Friction design combined with the weight of the pad keeps the GPS unit stationary when mounted to the pad with a standard suction cup mount. Handy for grab and go mounting of the GPS unit when moving from vehicle to vehicle.
