Received the item fast. Mounted my Optoma HD-8000 front projector with a very good fit. Highly recommended.

It's a mount. It works. It's sturdy. I think it was pricey but I needed it for the projection unit.

The Mount is OK, but for 100 bucks I would expect it to be more adjustable than just the three screws. It has good height adjustment and thats about it.

This really works & is very sturdy. The problem is the bolts they give is too heavy for light home projectors. Just get 14inch screws from Lowes & you will be OK.
The manual is not good.

This ceiling mount is truly universal. It was very easy to install -- I was able to do it in about 30 minutes. It has a very unique system of plates to hold virtually any projector. The tube extending from the ceiling downwards is adjustable, I found it very easy to adjust the height of the projector. The "micro" manipulations of the mount to adjust the final image on your screen could be a bit easier to use and a bit more flexible, but it was quite adequate overall.
This is an excellent mount at a very good price.
