Fantastci Headphones for online games November 19, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
These are fantastic headphones for online gaming. Sound quality is acceptable for games like Battlefield 2.
Only 2 complaints. The Volume contol is unweildy and the microphone mute switch is easy to forget that you have it on.
Very comfortable I can wear my headphones for hours without getting hot ears. They are lightweight and well constucted.
The microphone is very good it is out of your way so you can have a drink without moving the mic boom. AND it has very good sound quality so you can hear it quite well.
a steal at a 20 dollar pricepoint.
another lousy product from gadgettech November 9, 2005 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
Save your money and buy a Plantronics headset. Unconfortable and poor sound. Stay away.
decent, but there is a better option October 27, 2005 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought these with some gift money to review them and compare to the Plantronic Audio 80 and 90's that I have. They have good sound quality, and the mic works fine, but the comfort is nowhere near as good as the Auio 90's, which are slightly cheaper at Amazon right now. So, while these are *ok*, they are not that comfortable (though better than the Audio 80's or any other totally unpadded headset), and no where near that of the Audio 90's, or other total around the ear constructions.
Not bad at all for the price, until you compare them to the Plantronics alternative.
For Powerbook Users October 13, 2005 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Although the label indicates that this headset is Mac-compatible, the microphone did not work with my Powerbook. This is because the headset requires a powered mic input, and in general Macs don't have powered mic inputs. To be safe, go with the USB headsets.
worthless for voice recognition September 19, 2005 2 out of 11 found this review helpful
if you are buying this headset for voice recognition...don't! It does not work for voice recognition! The boom does not extend far enough or close enough to the mouth! I am extremely disappointed with this purchase! They are OK if you just wanna chat. But on the box it says they are good for voice recognition...that is a complete misrepresentation and a total lie! I'm extremely depressed about these! I feel like committing suicide I am so depressed.
