This was my first HP financial calculator which I bought after owning TI calculators for years. I bought it on reputation and it worked well until it died. It didn't even outlast the batteries. I think I'll go back to TI. They seem a lot more rugged.

Financial Calculator - easy to use and priced right June 3, 2008
I've had to buy this calc for a graduate course in finance, but I'm glad I did. The class in part walked me through the usage of the function keys, but it's very durable, ergonomically well designed, and calculating power is very handy in real life situations. A kind of "Must Have" at the price.

Anyone who is running a business, looking to refinance their house, take out an auto loan etc. should purchase this calculator and study the manual to understand the basics of financial calculations. These calculations can be handled far swifter than using Excel.
Incredible to Use May 25, 2008
I don't have a great math or finance background and need to get solutions to problems involving interest. It's easy to learn how to use the N I PV PMT and FV keys and they're right on top. Easy to learn, easy to use.
