5 out of 5 stars Great Value!   July 19, 2008
An excellent value for this Garmin GPS. Extras were included that I didn't expect for the price.

5 out of 5 stars From VA to TX   July 19, 2008
There's not much I can say that hasn't been said before. After a bit of hasty research and some recommendations from others, I bought this model for my move from Virginia to Texas. It was indispensable; from finding gas stations (I preferred Shell since I have a card there) to finding food other than what's advertised on the highways, to getting a hotel room for the night when you can't drive anymore, it didn't hiccup one bit. That is, until I hit the really heavy construction in Houston where it went crazy. It would tell me to take a left where there was none, or to turn around in the middle of the highway. Oh well, I guess any other GPS would choke in the same situation. My only minor complaint would be the lack of a QWERTY mode for the keyboard which would really be great for the majority of us who can type. Even though I have a pretty good sense of direction, the Nuvi 350 was still great in helping me find my way around town when I arrived.

5 out of 5 stars Garmin Nuvi 350 Wouldn't want to ask for more   July 19, 2008

This product is exactly what I was looking for in a GPS navigator -- compact, portable, but still large enough to read easily. My wife insisted on spoken street names (not just "turn right now") and it was great with that. Had trouble getting it to re-route where I wanted to go but that was operator error after having it only a couple of days. Worked great after reading tech order (Duh!) Nothing but high marks and highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT AND SIMPLE TO USE!   July 18, 2008

I was very undecided which to get either another product or Garmin. My sister-in-law had purchased one from Amazon which I tried. Conclusion: Loved It and simple to use!! I may buy another one for a gift to my husband since he used it briefly and much better the one he has!

5 out of 5 stars Best Bang for the Buck   July 18, 2008

I researched a variety of Garmin GPS. I found the best price for the dollar was the Nuvi 350. It had the features I wanted in A better than basic GPS. If you're looking for a better than basic GPS the Nuvi 350 is the one. I looked in the $200.00 range and I could not find another with the included features in this price range. Completely satisfied with my purchase. Also Amazon has some great comparison charts to help you make your selection.
