Like a sand bag legs for (weight). Fits perfect on any curve dash board. Ball joint that Swivel GPS left/right/up/down, very practical.

This is a great alternative for a GPS windsheld mount...has a Garmin post connection built in and stays in place on your dashboard regardless of fast stops or turns.

This works much better then the mounting disc that came with the Garmin. You can place it any where on the dash and it stays there. I would highly recommend it.

Its nice to place my GPS on the dashboard for several reasons. I like the fact that there isn't any suction 'rings' on my front windshield and I don't need to take that suction ring off every time I leave my car for an extended period of time (fear of theft). Additionally, as we are driving, my wife can grab the device to research restaurants, closest walmarts, etc. without the need to reach to the front window and pull it off. Now she just picks up the mount and my C580 and places it on her lap. Finally, when placed wherever on my dash, it does not slide around...and I have given it plenty of opportunity to do so with fast turns and quick stops.
