Some routing glitches but overall good unit. Easy to use and program. Good screen contrast and map are easily readable from driver perspective.

I love this item! Many of my patients live in rural settings without road signs. This device guides me to their front doors with flawless directions.

I got this for my wife for a gift. She loves it. She was always calling me while on the road. The only problem is that there are plenty of missing streets and I have yet to figure out how to update.

Why I like this product:
- I got it at $150 shipped.
- Ability to calculate directions in many possible ways (hence, I can plan my trip more efficiently from point A->B->C and so on.)
- 2D or 3D view, night mode, & has a running demo of your route.
- Ability to automatically increase the volume as you drive faster.
- Ability to edit or make corrections to the map.
Why I dislike this product:
- Short-life battery (about 2 hours).
- Limited POI database & some outdated entries! (I highly recommended TomTom to work on updating this!!)
- When just turning the device on, sometimes it takes up-to 2 minutes plus to lock onto a signal!
- I cannot edit the address on "my favorites" (the options are only 'Rename' or 'Delete')
- Does not support text-to-speech functionality, which speaks the actual street names rather than generic directions. But you can set on preference so you can see the street names appears on the screen.

We really love our Tom Tom. It's easy to use and gets us where we want to go. Everyone should have one.
