Never got lost May 14, 2008 Works great. I never get lost now. When I miss a turn, it will immediately recalculate to find a new way to my destination.
good value May 13, 2008 I tried to research a lot of navigators and learned they all seem to have their pros & cons. This one is a good value for the money. It's a nice size, easy to see and hear, although some of the pronunciation is at times weird and a little difficult to understand. I'm not one for reading manuals and instructions and with this one, you don't need to worry, almost self-explanatory.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1YV7QXTKOC9S6 We purchased this for our daughter who is a bit navigationally challenged. It's very simple to use right out of the box. The voice feature is important so as to be able to keep your eyes on the road rather than on the unit.
GPS Navigator May 12, 2008 I didn't want to buy another tech gadget but I am glad I purchased this one. I truly love it! Very easy to use right out of the box. No instructions that require a PhD to interpret and assemble. Very user friendly and idiot proof.
Not perfect, but very good. May 9, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Garmin nuvi 260 is fairly intuitive and easy to use. The text-to-speech makes it very easy to verify that you are making turns at the correct street. Some drawbacks: the enunciation is not always clear (eg - Ailine Drive for Airline Drive); it will take a shorter route with lights when a quicker, but slightly longer, route exists; when driving on the interstate or major highway, it will tell you to go left or right to stay on the current interstate or highway when an exit for another interstate or major highway is coming up (this can be annoying when you are passing through a city and would not normally get off the interstate or highway you are traveling on unless told to do so). It takes a little exploring to learn some of the features. All in all it makes it easier to get around when you don't know a city or area very well.
