I really like the Fellowes 32057 Powershred P-57Cs Shredder. It is efficient and I like all the safety features. I would highly recommend it for anyone with small children or pets.
Great Machine June 9, 2008
I brought this after I needed to get rid of my college applications. This is a really great machine. It arrived in a timely manner. I've used it several timed already. This machine has a limit of 25 papers at a time. I tend to put in less because when I put in more it tends to jam. I also limit myself to how many times I can use this machine a day. The paper that comes out of this shredder is quite small, I think someone who is trying to put the information together will have a difficult time.
Avoid Identity Theft June 8, 2008

Probably the easiest way to avoid identity theft is to shred all documents with your personal info on it. I had lots of old documents to shred and needed a machine with ample storage capacity, that wouldn't overheat when shredding more than a few documents as some small machines do and not too expensive. The P-57C seems to fit that criteria. Be suspicious of "sheets at a time" ratings on all machines -- they seem to be a fantasy! Get a machine with crosscut shredding as this one does. Don't forget to buy shredder oil -- you will need it.
