These phones worked right out of the box, after charging the batteries. The intercom feature is extremely valuable for a spread-out house. Adding two additional handsets was fairly easy, although the additional handsets did not come with adequate instructions on how to program them to the existing system. The instruction manual for the system covered that.

So far so good the phones work extremely well! I have no complaints of any kind. Very easy to use and place around the house. Just a 110 outlet required.

I bought the Panasonic KX-TG1034S Dect 6.0 phones for my uncle. I got four so they would be everywhere. He has great sound, is able to see who's calling and it has the digital answering machine, which you can retreave messages from any of the phones. Many more items to use on this phone. Great buy at ths price.

Some Panasonic products I've bought over the years have been mediocre, others excellent. This phone system, so far, falls into the "excellent" category.
Easy to set up, great range from the base to locations throughout the house (2 floors) and out in the yard. The speakerphone on the handsets is very good - especially important to me as I am somewhat hard of hearing and don't like putting a phone to my ear when wearing a hearing aid.

Panasonic once again comes through with a great product. Upgraded from my 2.4ghz Uniden (hated it!) answer system and I'm very pleased with this one, this one is for my home. I had a Panasonic in my homeoffice and had to buy the Uniden corded/cordless Dect (Panasonic doesn't offer a corded Dect) not very happy with the new Uniden (see my review). I have 2 other single handset Panasonics & decided to get the one that is Dect and 4 handsets, not sorry at all. It's easy to set up and works great, sound is very clear. It's too bad they didn't put a number count on the answer machine portion that's the only negative so far. Stick with a Panasonic though, GE and others not rated as good.
