I've had this printer for 5 months now. I print and copy ALOT and just changed the black and light blue cartridges that came with it recently.
It took me about an hour from opening the box to being all set up with software and wireless and I was ready to go.
Not a single complaint here.
 Another bad printer from HP July 21, 2008
I have had this printer for 4 months now.I knew better than to buy an HP all in one.Each model gets progressively worse when I replace them.The plain paper handling on this one is the worst ever.For the last 20 minutes it refuses to recognize that the paper tray is filled.It does not matter which way you put it in, it can,t feed the paper.This problem has be getting worse and worse each month but what makes it even annoying is the little amount of paper the tray holds. What 30 pages maybe? One of the poorest designs to hold paper I have seen yet.Love the Brother all in one I bought for the office to replace a 3 year old HP all in one that swallowed huge amount of ink.
I will say if you can get the printer to load the paper it prints well.Pass on this printer and the rest of the HP all in ones there are better brands out there for less money.
Wow after 30 minutes of messing with the unit I turned the printer upside down it finally loads the paper.Now I need to conserve the 20 sheets before i have to load more paper.

The printer is slow and loud. I thought I was doing great by purchasing a wireless printer. I have had nothing but trouble from the time of purchase (6 months or so ago) until now.
The printer says that I am out of paper where there is less than half left in the paper tray, and that is very annoying especially when in another part of the house printing a document just to have to do more work just to print a document.
i am now re-installing the software for the third time and the software is a very large bloated program that takes forever to load.
The reason for the two stars is when this printer does work, it does an excellent job of getting photos scanned into the computer. again when it works.
Other than that, nice piece of expensive garbage.

this printer is recomended by consumer reports which was the sole reason i chose it. My photos look like they came from a real photo shop. great color, easy to use (has special tray for 4x6 paper) and there is no need to switch out ink for photo jobs.

Este printer es muy bueno, lo unico que no me gusta es que hace mucho ruido cuando se prende, tiene un poco de problemas cuando se utiliza el wireless porque se pierde la conexion, aunque mejora un poco cuando se utiliza el upgrade. pero aun asi tiene sus fallas, la calidad de su fotos es muy buena comparado con otras impresoras, pero no tan buena como si fuera un laboratorio o walgreens u otro lugar de revelado. el scanner es bastante bueno y rapido, aunque no me gusta mucho el software que utiliza para el escaner, el fax es como cualquier otra maquina de fax, el alimentador de papeles funciona muy bien y casi nunca hace un jam de papeles. en resumen es muy buena impresora, la compraria de nuevo y la recomiendo.
