The picture is great, the style and look of the unit is clean and classy and I really like the "Touch of Color" accent
around the bezel. If I had any issue with it at all, it would be 1: the volume of the unit is relatively low compared to my unit I replaced and 2: The Remote could be a little touchy when you are switching inputs. Otherwise I have no complaints. OK maybe one. I wish it were bigger, but that is my problem.
FYI, I do TV commercials and wouldn't you know it, but I just did a Samsung commercial and of course they are coming out with a new version and of course it's half the thickness of mine, but I didn't like the new "Touch of Color" version. It looks like a cars stop light. I think you would be very happy if you decided to purchase this unit.

We obsessed for months and read countless reviews before we purchased the Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. It is amazing! The picture is awesome - even with blinds wide open. The red touch of color is very subtle and gives it added class. We also bought the Samsung home theater system w/5 dvd changer and IPOD dock (I think that's what cinched it for my better half) The sound system equals the TV in quality and performance. We could not be happier with our purchase.

I love this TV! All the great reviews on here and on other sites got me thinking about this particular brand and model. I had little experience with HD TVs so I spent weeks reading about various models, the pros and cons of plasma versus LCD and other such info. I checked review sites such as Consumer Reports and CNET to gain some understanding as to the quality afforded by various models. I made numerous visits to the Best Buy showroom to look at this model in person and was blown away by its picture, as was the Best Buy salesperson with whom I spoke. In fact they had a blu-ray movie playing on a 650 to show just how great the picture was! Over time it became readily apparent to me that there was nothing out there at the price Amazon offered that I could get that would be any better.
I ordered this TV from Amazon on Saturday, June 14; it shipped on Monday, June 16 and was in my living room by 11:30 AM Wednesday, June 18--and the shipping was free! With no shipping fee, no sales tax and this low price on Amazon I saved hundreds over the best deal I could find at any local store. And over the next 30 days I got 3 refunds totalling $128 because of the price dropping on here--all I had to do was monitor the price each day and email Customer Service to request a refund when I saw a price reduction. It was easy to do and they quickly made a refund to my credit card each time.
I find myself just sitting in front of this TV amazed at the clarity, the colors, the depth of blacks, the perfect motion...my friend bought a 52" Sony Bravia model a month prior to my purchase and he wishes that he had seen this model on Amazon as he paid hundreds more for his TV but there appears to be no difference in the quality or performance! I find the surround sound to be very good and the overall sound to be definitely better than the sound on any other TV I have owned--I can't imagine how good it will be to watch a movie with this TV hooked to an ET system. And the Touch of Color? I have had nothing but compliments on the way the actual set looks just sitting in my living room.
Bottom line: If you are considering this TV get it--you will not find any other TV of this quality for this price. Oh, one more thing--AFTER I bought it Consumer Reports evaluated this TV and gave it their highest rating of all the LCDs they have rated. One more confirmation that indeed I did make the right choice!

AWESOME TV!!!! I haven't bought a TV in about 12 years, so I took months agonizing over the decision. I was between this one and a Toshiba but the rich feature set turned the tide to the LN52A650. I've tried out about every thing except the PIP and it all works as it should. Picture is fantastic especially on HD content, but even most analog cable channels look dang good. As others have said, the onboard speakers aren't the greatest, but they're not bad, I hooked the TV into my stereo which sounds great and will more than do until I get a full on home theater system.
A note about CEVA shipping, I followed the tracking closely and my TV arrived at the local terminal on a Wednesday. I waited for a call until Thursday noon, and was told they wouldn't have the two man truck coming to my area until the following Thursday. I think I could have talked them into sending it earlier if I'd help unload, but decided agianst it. When the day came, the delivery window was 11-3 and they showed at about 3.05. They unloaded, unboxed, and made sure the unit worked. My advice would be to call as soon as tracking on the CEVA website shows its reached the local terminal. If I had, I think I could have had the TV a week earlier. A google for CEVA Trak or tracking should lead you to thier website and you can navigate around thier site to find the local phone number, then ask for who=ever schedules deliveries. Amazon tracking seemed to lag behind the CEVA tracking by at least several hours.
Overall, I am very satisfyed with my purchase and would not hisitate to reccomend this TV, and buying it from amazon to anyone.

Delivery was great, price was better than anywhere I looked, no tax, and this TV is nothing short of beautiful. I really enjoy Amazon, too! What more is there to say.
