 False Advertising July 2, 2008
This company is advertising that they are selling an Original Dell AC adapter by Dell. They even have several pictures of adapters that say Dell on them. Unfortunately, what they sent me was some cheap knockoff of a Dell adapter that says "replacement adapter" instead of saying Dell. I tried to contact them twice about the problem and no one ever got back to me. It seems like a great deal for the price, but if you want a real, genuine Dell AC adapter, DO NOT BUY FROM the batterycenter. It is just a cheap knockoff with some false advertising and pictures of something that they do not actually send you.

The product description indicates that it is an original Dell product. I read the other review, and that customer was well pleased, and got an original Dell product. I however, got a cheap knock-off made by some other company. The product works, and it does fit my computer, but I am not at all pleased with the fact that the seller specifically presented this as an original Dell product, when it is NOT.

5 out of 5, it really impressed me that for the price (almost 19$)this AC adapter is the original DELL adapter like the one shipped with the computer, i almost bought an equivalent for higher price and really wondered if this one was the real thing as stated, i waited, and it is!
i can't say anything about the durability because i've been using it for a few hours but given that it is the original it should last long. also, it looks and feels very sturdy and robust, capable of falling from a reasonable height without breaking. the cosmetical condition is A+, when i opened the package and noticed it was the original i thought that perhaps it was an used/reconditioned unit but i mistaken again when i found it to be sealed and nearly untouched by human hands. Brand new.
i'll comment my experience with it again in 3 months
