Worth drinking 125 bottles of Pepsi! July 20, 2008 Terrific set of headphones at a terrific price (lots of typing). Looking forward to getting a 2nd set before the Pepsistuff promotion ends.
Great But not the Best July 17, 2008 These are the first pair of headphones i have got from Sennheiser. I have not been disappointed with these headphones. When i use these headphones i use them for listening to pandora radio, playing COD4 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion. All the sound i get back from it is quite amazing, it makes you feel like your in a warzone or listening to a live band. The only issue i have had with it are that the end piece of the wire has to be adjusted frequently, or else your sound gets distorted. Make sure to "burn in" these headphones (let them play for a while without listening) for about 1 or 2 days before you use them or else the sound is almost pure bass. Oh and the best thing about these headphones is unlike most of the over the ear headphones it does not press on your ears and you forget your even wearing them.
There is better audio out there if you are willing to deal out some seious cash i would get the Sennheiser HD 555 they are without a doubt the best headphones i have ever used.
Sennheiser does it again !! July 8, 2008 My son (21) is an audiophile, he has bought and trashed more headphones / earbuds than I can count. He found the Sennheiser's and has bought nothing else since. Fast forward to my Pepsi Stuff points, I was looking for something to replace my earbuds for my MP3 player (Creative Zen Sleek Photo, great unit!), the Zen has a volumne output of 0-25, with the Earbuds I listened at the 16-18 level, with the Sennheiser's I do have to go go upwards of 20-22, that said, these headphones rock! The sound is crystal clear, the bass is very good. The price, fantastic, you just cannot beat free high quality headphones. If you have 125 points, get these!!!
Why I Gave These 5 Stars? June 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was somewhat skeptical when purchasing these headphones despite the number of 5 star reviews. Mainly I was concerned with the low output these supposedly gave. I read many reviews stating that one had to turn the volume on their media device to maximum volume or close to it, just to get a reasonable listening volume from the headphones. This isn't the case for me. I'm not sure if other reviewers are using outdated technology or what, because I did not have to change the volume on my laptop at all. The same volume I use for the built in laptop speakers works perfect when I plug in these headphones. It's no different when using my Zune either; both the stock earbuds and these headphones require the same volume. As for sound quality, they give you all the lows, mids and highs one could ask for. Obviously, there is better quality sound out there, but for more $$ of course. If you somehow find my review out of the 200 already on here you should know that these are worth the $25 --they look, sound, and feel good. They deserve 5 stars.
Sound good, block out noise & are comfortable June 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These earphones sound fine and do a good job of shutting out extraneous sound. The are very comfortable. I use them with a digital piano.
