I needed an HDMI cable to connect my Dell XPSM1330 Laptop to my 40" Samsung HDTV. The big box stores did not have HDMi cables under $99! I checked Amazon and of course it was cheaper by 90%. Works great for what I need.
Great Cable, Great Price May 10, 2008
In the past I've purchased high-quality Monster and Audioquest cables for audio, video and guitar/amp applications. But when I ordered my Samsung LCD HDTV from Amazon a couple weeks ago, I also needed an HDMI cable to connect my cable HD/DVR. I decided to try this cable because of so many good reviews. I didn't expect much though, considering the price. On the contrary, I was blown away. Granted, I haven't yet tried this cable with a blu-ray player, as I'm awaiting the release of the Samsung BD-P1500. I sure am glad I tried this cable over the way more expensive ones, as it seems to have full HDMI 1.3 compatibility and provides crystal clear video and audio. Great buy!
