I bought this HDMI cable with the Sony upcovert DVD player and it worked flawlessly so I have nothing bad to say. My only wish is to have an angled plug at one end (that goes into the DVD player) so I can have the DVD player closer to the wall on the small shelf under my plasma TV. Overall, I'd recommend this HDMI cable for its low price and excellent performance.

Does exactly the same thing as the $75 cable BestBuy pawned off to me when I bought my HD TV a few months ago. I bought 2 for $40, one for the Satellite box and the other for the DVD player, and returned the expensive one.
WHAT A CABLE SHOULD COST March 8, 2007
After purchasing my 56" DLP, I was presented an array of HDMI cables at the superstore ranging from $[...]. No way jose, I checked out AMAZON.com and came across this one. Slighlty skeptical simply due to the fact this cable is a fraction of the price, I ordered it. It works great. Good quality and no signal noise. This is what a cable should cost. The superstores are trying to make up for lost margins on the competeive price of TV's by selling add-on and related items with unreasonable mark-ups. If you are in the market for an HDMI cable, order this one!

I found no difference between this cable and the one I paid $40 to purchase at best buy. It worked great and I would purchase again from this vendor.

i see somewhat of a difference from my component cables. i'm glad i didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. they cable is a little loose though, so i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but like i said the picture quality is fine, so i'm not to worried about it. if i need to buy another one i won't mind since i didn't spend that much.
