I also lost my original charger for my Canon camera and did not want to pay for the expensive Canon charger. This one has worked perfectly--as long as you insert the battery in backwards as the other reviews indicate. It's the opposite of the original charger and if you put the battery in wrong it will not work. The car charger is handy as well. Good purchase!
excellent replacement for original July 26, 2008
This replacement is a bit larger but since it came with UK plug, car charger, it does much more then the original. I was worried when I ordered it but as usual quick delivery from amazon and after trying it, works great.
Then i found my original that i lost so now i have two. this one works better on the road so i can charge in the car also.
