1 out of 5 stars Lots of interference   April 20, 2008

I ordered and then had to return this item. I have a 55" projection TV that supports 1080i and when running components through this box received an unwatchable amount of intereference.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic! Great performance at a fair price!   April 20, 2008
Initially I had shied away from this unit thinking "Can't be good. Too cheap." So I tried a Joytech AV Control Switch. Had problems with bright white screens causing loss of picture (de-sync). Sent it back and started searching again, the picked this unit to try based on all the positive feedback. It's a beautiful thing! No picture quality loss, fast response and sync time, truly a great product at a great price. I have a TiVo HD, XBox 360 and Toshiba DVD player. All work flawlessly.

5 out of 5 stars Great Device   April 17, 2008
This product is great. I have a xbox 360 and nintendo wii and I notice absolutely no signal loss from these two systems. Contrary to other reviews, there is not a loss in vsync when using the device. In most instances a screen tear has to due with the game itself and not the switchbox (ie mass effect).

5 out of 5 stars Great product!   April 1, 2008
This is a great purchase for the cost! Simple and easy layout and has a remote! Works great for 720p and 1080i display! I use mine with an Xbox 360 and a blue ray player and my time warner cable box and I really believe there could not be a better product for the need of switching between them all, the only downside is that theres only 3 sets of inputs but for those of us with only three things its great!

5 out of 5 stars Best priced quality switcher   March 29, 2008
I've been using this switcher for a year now and am still amazed at the performance. It is absolutely invisible as far as video and audio quality are concerned, meaning there is no coloration or degradation. What goes in is exactly what comes out. Switching is silent and immediate. It was simple to add this to my Harmony 550 remote and works flawlessly with it.

The only negative aspect I have experienced is that it is a relatively light weight piece. If you have all 3 inputs connected to even semi rigid or heavy cables, it can be a chore to route them all and keep the switch in one place. This is a minor but real quibble. I had help holding it in place while routing wires but if you're on your own, I suppose you could stack a couple books on it while you run your cabling. The box is definitely heavy duty enough for that.

Bottom line, this is the best bang for the buck component switcher available.
You can spend more on a component switch. But I promise you if you do, you're just throwing away your money.
