| Customer Reviews:
they work great hope they did not run out so quickly... January 5, 2007 I have canon mp 800 and this are the right cartridges to get. You even save some from buying them individualy. Even though my printer uses individual cartridges I noticed that all the cartridges run out pretty close to each other (between 1 week to 15 days of each other)so it makes sense to buy them all together. I never had a faulty one so far and they are very easy to change, also the printer recognizes them right away. My only problem with the cartridges is that they run out so quickly, I don't use the printer much and I never had to change as many cartridges as with my Canon printer, maybe Canon should think of creating higher capacity cartridges... My old hp printer had the option...
The best choice? January 4, 2007 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
Many people like to refill their ink tanks, or buy less expensive aftermart brands. Because I read so many posts about the problems people had with doing that, I decided to buy a printer that was the most economical with OEM tanks so I could use them.
I love my Pixma 5200 (evidently now discontinued, but the 4200 seems to be about the same thing). See my review. One of the pluses of these printers is the cost of the ink, which seems to be lower than the competition.
There are savings in the multi-tank packaging as well, so I think this is about the cheapest way to print color and with superior quality as well. Long-life ink, no clogs, proper low-ink sensing, excellent colors. This seems to be the way to go at this time in the cycle of technology.
It is hard to imagine how squirting liquid ink onto paper could result in anything good, but it does. You would almost have to think that some improved form of color lasers or such will take over in the future, but for now this is a good way to go.
One star off 'cause it is still too expensive.
Canon CLI-8 4-Pack Color Ink Tank January 4, 2007 If you have a Canon Pixma Printer that takes CLI-8 ink cartages, use nothing but Canon CLI-8 4-PACK COLOR INK TANKS. You will save money getting a 4-pack instead of individual ink tanks.
Works great January 3, 2007 What can you say about ink? I found no problems with it... it arrived quickly, was about $30 cheaper for all 6 than buying them at the store. As long as you ready your printer manual to find out exactly what ink you need, and check the product to make sure you're buying the right thing, there shouldn't be any problems.
I do wish that they had a separate package without the black, though. (or just sold them all separately). I print a lot of photos and use a lot of color, so I have two un-used black ink cartridges sitting here waiting to be used. By the time I need to replace all the color ones again, I probably still will not have replaced the black, so then I'll have three.
does not come with black ink November 12, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
