As always, Kingston has created a dependable memory card...it works GREAT in the new camera I purchased...however, do not expect an older camera to handle the faster cards.
 Constant I/O Fails... July 11, 2008
I have bought this card for this 50x speed, think in using for recoding video on my Panasonic TZ1 but it fails all time. I have lost a lot of pictures and files on it.

I just noticed that my review is applied to all Kingston SD cards, not just the 2GB MicroSD card I was reviewing. Why, Amazon? These are very different cards with different compatibility. Some are standard SD, some are MiniSD, and some are MicroSD, big difference! I mentioned in my previous review that the card was compatible with my phone (Samsung SPH-M500). The 2GB MicroSD card IS compatible with my phone, but I'm pretty sure the 4GB+ SDHC cards won't work and I'm positive the standard SD and MiniSD cards won't even fit the slot! So while I'm happy with the item, Amazon needs to seperate the reviews. Until then, be very careful what information you use to choose a card.

It seems exceptionally fast to me. That is, the camera I'm using it in writes files to it very quickly. Even hundred-megabyte videos are finished in a flash. No pun intended. Seriously.
The price was excellent and the brand name is reassuring.
