 INCREDIBLE EARBUDS FOR ANY PORTABLE PLAYER (INCLUDING IPHONE) July 3, 2008
I just bought these earphones from amazon, basically because y read many good things about them.
I know rewievs are subjective and in this case they depend on music taste and music knowledge, but in this case, they were surprisingly accurate with what I experienced when I first tried this earbuds.
I paid 29,99 for these, so I wasnt expecting TOO MUCH... I was wrong.
They sound AWESOME!!
I am using them now with my Iphone, and i couldnt be happier.
The sound is big. And when I say big... I mean BIG! A little too much bass, but thats easy to fix, setting the iphones eq in "bass reducer" or "treble booster" mode The sound is not balanced, so you have to compensate the treble. I must say I love listening to a nice punchy groove, but this lows are incredible loud and accurate, so i decided to turn them a little bit down.
Noise isolation is also very good. Working out in the gym, I realized I was standing right in front of a large speaker, and i wondered if it was turned off, because i couldnt hear anything...so I came closer... and nothing, until I decided to take off one of my earbuds, and I couldnt believe it was actually sounding pretty loud! With my earbuds and some music in it, i couldnt hear a large speaker 5 inches from my ear!!
The most important thing for me is that they fit in the Iphone. Its not a perfect fit, I must say. You have to press it a little bit hard to get it in, but once in... you will experience a much much MUCH better sound experience than with the crappy Iphone earphones.
Thank god I followed my instincts and bought this incredible earphones.

Tried these after reading a review on CNET. The review was spot on. These headphones do provide great sound at a bargain price.

I received these earbuds, and I'm very happy with them.
They have a good amount of low, deep, quality bass.
They are very comfortable, and they can handle a good amount of volume, without distortion. I had to reduce my Bass on my player 1 notch, and now it sounds perfect. I'm considering buying the Vibes, for just an extra pair.
Combined with my IAudio X5, and a set of these, you've got a simply AWESOME_SOUND!

The sound quality is ok, but not as clear as some of the headphones I have had from Sony. The headphones dont stay in my ear very well and I have to constantly adjust them. Also the part of the cord that inserts into the player is straight (like ipod headphones) and not L-shaped like most headphones which makes me think they will break easier, but no trouble yet (1 month in).
Electronic Music Fans Look No Further... July 1, 2008
I decided to get a pair of ear buds because my DJ headphones (Sony MDR V-700) were a bit too cumbersome for travel and every-day use. I was, however, skeptical that any buds could come anywhere near acceptable for the sort of heavy bass I expect from the giant $100 DJ phones. I listen mostly to Trance/House/Dance stuff and with that sort of music, feeling the beat is pretty much the whole point.
These things are amazing. The bass reproduction is unbelievable. If you're an electronic music fan, these are the buds for you, I guarantee it. For best results, I recommend using the largest set of silicone heads you can comfortably wear. You should also make sure that they are inserted properly. You'll be able to tell (push them in tightly until the sound is right, then let them relax in your ear). I found that the largest set (three sizes are included) provided the best sound- without a complete seal (i.e. the smallest pair that is the default)- the things sounded tinny and awful. The difference is really staggering.
In conclusion, if you need strong beats.... these are the buds for you. I cannot overstate how spectacular these little suckers perform.
