 Doesn't fit the Nuvi 650 July 14, 2008
After reading someone else's review saying that this case fit the Nuvi 650 (and that the 650 doesn't come with its own case), I decided this case was worth the price just to have a basic covering for my Nuvi when I decided to take it walking or put it in my bag.
I just received my 650 and this case, and although the case's packaging specifically says that it fits the 650, it doesn't! You can cram it in there if you really try, but it's obviously straining the side seams of the case to do so, and it's wedged in so tightly that it's almost impossible to get out again. I pushed it in all the way, and it took two people to get it out (one prying the case's sides open, one pulling the unit out)! If you slide it in most, but not all, of the way, it's easier to yank it out again, but then it's not covering the entire Nuvi.
Given that this is the official Garmin case, and it specifically says that it fits my model, I'm really surprised that it does such a crappy job. I'll be looking for a different case that actually fits the 650.

We bought this for our Garmin Nuvi 760 because we'd read that they fit in this case. It fits like a glove, and protects the screen from scratches. Definitely a worthwhile investment for protecting an expensive GPS navigator.

When I bought the GPS unit, the site said that others who bought the GPS unit also bought this carrying case. Turns out the case came with the unit so I didn't need it and returned it

Garmin carrying case did not fit the golflogix. It was way too small. Was a double whammy since the golflogix I purchased from Amazon was not in working condition either. Disappointing father's day.
