 Fragile Lens September 29, 2008

I purchased this camera in august and by sept it was broken. The lens got bumped and would not retract back in. After bringing it to a camera shop, they told me that I was the third canon camera that week with the same problem. I was also informed canon would not cover it because it was not a camera defect. The camera did take good pictures, but wasn't the easiest camera to figure out. I ended up spending a little more and getting the nikon S60, which I love. The camera has an internal lens and a very easy menu. I also purchased insurance on the camera.

It's all in the title. The battery seems to last quite a while, albeit I've only charged it twice - we'll see how it stands up over time. For the price though, I am not going to complain either way!

For the price (~$2 each), I ordered 4 batteries - anticipating some might be bad or sub-par. Not the case! I've used them all and they work perfectly.
Received quickly from Seller (BargainCell).
I can't say that I've done a controlled head-to-head evaluation with the original Canon battery, but I haven't noticed any significant difference or capacity issues.
And, oh yeah - there's the price.... Works for me!

This is a great replacement battery. I've been useing for two months now and keep my camara with me every day. Never fails. I keep one in the camara an one extra all of the time to swap out and re-charge.

I'm extremely happy with this battery. I've had no problems with it, and it keeps its charge just as well as the Canon battery would. Great price and fast shipping, too.
