Great product July 18, 2008
This product works great. Keeps the GPS in place while traveling,
then you just pick it up with the GPS attached to remove it from
the vehicle. We read reviews on the other attaching methods and
decided not even to try them & ordered this instead.

Love it!, It's great because I can take it off the dash and slide it in the back so no one knows that I have GPS. I recommended to a friend and they bought one. Shipped fast.

This friction mount works perfectly. It has never slipped on the dash even under heavy acceleration. Far superior to the suction cup.

This is a wonderful product--a truly portable base for your Street Pilot or Nuvi Series Garmin GPS Navigator. It allows you to easily use your GPS in any vehicle, without using a glue-down mount. I found that the standard glue-down mount will melt in the heat--then it becomes difficult to anchor the unit. This is the perfect solution. It does not slip off of the dashboard or any other surface and you can transfer it to another vehicle, so that the whole family has the use of the GPS as needed. I highly recommend it!
