I usually grab spindles of Memorex or Sony DVDs, but these were on sale, so I gave them a shot. I will not be using these again. I'm about halfway through the spindle currently, and I've coastered about 1/3rd of the discs. I expect a ruined dvd now and then, but these DVDs seem really cheap. regardless of recording speed or setup, they just seem to fail... this is compared to the Memorex & Sony DVDs which I've had almost no problems with. If you're looking for cheap blank DVDs, I'd suggest trying something else.

first i read some of the reviews, but since i had good luck with the first 100 dvd's i purchase from amazon, well you can imagen what happend, i bought another 100 and im very sorry, so far y have a defect ratio of 50%, this means i burn 8 disc and got 4 costers, stay away from this product, also the real manufacturer of my batch is "DAXON", wich i dont know if whe can sue somebody, i tought i bought tdk, but not, im very disopointed, also amazon should so something about this, in other countries, they put the name of the manufacturer also, you actually know what your getting, for example, the brand states Verbatim but the are manufacturer by Taiyo, and you know this before you make the purchase, this kind of poor management is what kills companys.
fallow up: testing at diferent speeds i found out they work great at half speed (8x) and it takes arround 6 or 7 minutes to burn, wich is not bad
just in case somebody else has the same problem, you can try burning at a lower speed

These DVD's worked fine, no coasters, no damage whatsoever.... just friendly working disks. Would definitely buy again and highly recommend.

Not a bad one found yet after using about 25 of the disks. No trouble burning or playing them anywhere.

TDK DVDs are great. It's the shipping that sucks. Every spindle of TDK, or any other kind of discs I've received from Amazon have been badly packed, and the spindls and cases have arrived broken, or even shattered. The Amazon shipping department hasn't a clue how to pack heavy, delicate plastic 100 Disc spindles. They use a minimal amount of packing material on only the TOP side of the item. The bottom side is against bare cardboard box, so they smash the first time they roll down one of those 20 foot roller ramps and suddenly stop up agaist something hard, and another, heavier box rams that one.
Fortunately, I have empty spindles that I put the discs from the smashed Amazon-shipped spindles into. The Prices and service are great. The spindle cases don't survive the trip.
