 Quality for classical music poor August 21, 2008
I am a musician and listen to my ipod to learn new pieces. The quality for piano/orchestral music is quite low. It sounds like music being played underwater. The lower register (cello, viola, and bass) is particularly bad. I would not recommend these to anyone who is listening at a professional level.
sound jumping from one ear to the other August 20, 2008
I have these for about 8 months. About a week ago I started noticing that I have audio only in one ear. But the mono ear experience jumps between the right and the left depending on the way I hold and wiggle the wire. And as the days go by, it has gotten worse. It now sometimes have no sound in both ears. I know I didn't pay a lot for this, but I certainly expected it to work for at least a year.
 Great sound & great comfort but they don't last August 19, 2008
I've been through two sets of these head phones in about 1 year. After 6 months or so, they break down; i.e. sound no longer goes through one of the ear buds. It's unfortunate, since the sound really is great, and they're super comfortable. If you don't mind buying a new set every 6 months, I'd recommend them. (Planned obsolescence?) I'm on a mission to find some head phones that last.

Good output, fit quite snugly into my ears, do eliminate a good deal of background noise and very reasonably priced. I used it for a few months and was very pleased with it.

I use these at work and they eliminate a lot of the background sound, but you can still hear the phone ring, or someone speaking (though muffled). I don't turn the volume up that loud, so I imagine a higher volume would really block the world out. ;)
Good sound and value, very comfortable.
