I bought this cleaner after returning the Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber. Bissell products are simply superior. I now have a full-size steam cleaner for overall cleaning and this little green for spills and spot-cleaning. It is lightweight, cleans very well, and has great suction. I couldn't be happier and have recommended this cleaner to relatives. It is also much more convenient than the smaller handhelds because the small cleaning wand can be used at angles and reach into places the dustbuster-style steamers can't. This is the perfect steamer for spot cleaning.

I've had this for about two months. One of my cats is a long hair cat who has injured a groomer while trying to keep her fur under control. So now she has a lot of hairballs and I don't like carpet stains. A long time ago I had a big stand-up carpet cleaner. It was a huge hassle, but got the floor clean very well.
The Little Green takes a bit of elbow grease (you need to scrub after getting the area wet -- as opposed to the one that you just sit down and push a button), but it definitely has worked well every time it's been used (about 8 times in 2 months). I haven't had any leaking or any issues with it. For the price and ease of use, it's definitely great compared to having to do it all by hand with a scrubber and also great compared to using a big old carpet cleaner.
Definitely a good tool for small pet stains (that's all I've had to clean up thus far).

This machine works great. I am amazed by how well the suction picks up dirt and cleans furniture. It is very compact and easy to assemble. Set up is easy and so is clean up afterwards. I did two chairs right away and they look really good and I got a lot of dirty water with each one. I will get a lot of use out of this machine with five cats in the house. I highly recommend this product.

Sometimes I think I rely on Amazon user reviews too much when buying a product and that is definitely the case here. I saw that this product averaged 4 1/2 stars so I figured I couldn't go wrong. But I am sending it back after only using it once. I have several problems with this product but I think my main problem is poor suction. Additionally, the spray shoots out very weakly and way off to both sides. I would prefer a stronger, more direct spray. Finally, cleanup is a pain and kinda gross! If I decide to take the plunge again it will be to buy a more expensive model with better suction and a less gross cleanup process.

I initially had been concerned about this product due to reviews reporting problems with dirty water tank leaks and clogging of the nozzle. I've used the cleaner several times, and so far have had no problems. I've been very pleased with how well it extracts the cleaning solution from upholstery. My only regret -- not buying one of these things when I first got my dog!
