Bought two of them at the same time for use in seminars--units (both) failed to work. Returned both to Amazon. Will try another brand--don't waste your $.

The Targus Presenter does everything it is supposed to do. It's nice to be able to walk around as I make presentations.

I bought this presentation remote for occasional use with a laptop computer running Windows XP. The off/on button on the side of the remote is very small and I had to make a mental note to remember to turn it off. It takes only 1 AAA battery. It would be a good idea to have an extra battery for a back up in case I forget to turn it off. I have small hands and the remote itself was small and very easy to use as I went through my PowerPoint presentation. No one was paying attention to me fumbling around with the remote, as the remote was so easy to use. I did have one problem with the plug and play end. It didn't like one of my USB ports. I'll have to check that again, as this was my first time using the remote and I may not have waited long enough for it to detect the plug and play hardware/software.

To confirm a previous post, this works out of the box on my MacBook Pro.
I agree with a previous review that the construction is lightweight and I would like something with a more solid feel. I will have to pack it carefully when I travel.
But a working mac-friendly wireless presenter/pointer at this price ($30 at the time of this review) is pretty good. I would recommend to others.

This product delivers what it claims. It does not offer remote control of our computer but it works great for showing photos. I connect my notebook to a HD TV with a RGB cable and with the Targus Wireless Presenter I can sit with everyone else, instead of near the notebook. The laser pointer is nice, but it does not work when it is pointed at a TV or anyother illuminated object.
