Looking GreatSeptember 2, 2008 Works just fine with my 40D and using the Canon Rubber Frame EB for EOS & Digital Rebel.
It's not quite strong enough to help me see without my glasses, although I assumed it was (-3 built-in plus -2 should be -5 and my current eyes are -4), but I've found the extra sharpness provided with the -2 helps me focus better at night even with my glasses.
Eyeglass relief for the Canon PhotographerSeptember 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Canon diaptor insert compliments my eyepiece extender accessory on both my 300D Rebel and new 40D. The failing of the EP-EX15 eyepiece extender is that it fails to completely keep my oily cheeks off the LCD on either camera and the eyepiece rides up as it has no locking mechanism to keep it on the finder flange of the camera body.
The diaptor allows me a full frame view through the finder without pressing my eyeglasses and cheek against the EP-EX15. This allows less oil on the LCD and keeps the eyepiece from riding up and off the camera.
Comes in different magnifications for different types of eyeglass users and facial shapes. This particular model E(-2) works just fine for me and I would not be without it.
