1 out of 5 stars Why is this considered natural OR green?   August 22, 2008
The main ingredients in this are: propylene glycol, sodium stearate, glyceryl laurate, and caprylic/capric triglyceride. There is nothing natural or green about any of these substances. Once again, consumer beware! Just because it says "natural" doesn't mean it really is.

5 out of 5 stars Only natural deodorant that worked for my daughter!   August 15, 2008
I tried all sorts of natural answers to an aluminum-containing deodorant, and this was the best. The apricot smells nice and it keeps my teenage daugher from smelling like sweat. She can't use the lavender and we didn't care for the calendula smell.

5 out of 5 stars BEST HEALTHY, CRUELTY FREE CHOICE   August 10, 2008
I've been using Tom's deodorant for over 20 years. I used to use the Honeysuckle until they changed their formula and added lichen. I found out the hard way that a large %age of the population is allergic to this stuff; I got a nasty rash. I don't know why they added it but they did. So I switched to the Calendula, a gentle formula, and it works great. It has a very pleasant smell, some people ask me what perfume I'm wearing. No rash or harsh side effects, it doesn't discolor my clothing, and it does the job---at the end of the day I'm still pleased with the product, still pleased after 10 years {or so}. I just hope and pray they keep lichen out of it.............

1 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work!   August 7, 2008
I purchased this mainly for my daughter, who is a preteen, because I didn't want her exposed to aluminum. After any physical exercise or play, the deodorant failed. One of her friends commented that she smelled and my daughter was very embarrassed! I tried it also and by the end of the day, my underarms smelled, which never happened with any other brand. This product is very disappointing!

Probably doesn't work as well as traditional deodorants, but seems to get me through the day without any problems. People concerned about the aluminum in most other deodorants should give this a try.
