 Never thought I could use applicator-free tampons! June 27, 2008
I never thought I'd be able to use applicator-free tampons, but it hasn't been bad at all. I love that these tampons are chlorine free & made from organic cotton. Not only are they healthier, they're better for the environment in the disposal & manufacturing processes. I thought I'd only be able to use them on my heavier days, but a friend suggested using lubricant on the other days, so I can really see these taking place of my regular tampons. I love that they take up so little space, they're so much more discreet when carried, and there's so little waste involved. It's awesome! It takes some getting used to: inserting without the applicator & removing without the string, but no big deal - really. I really feel like I'm making a difference in any way I can, thanks for Seventh Generation. Great product!

Great for the environment but unsure of my love for the product. You can be sure that you wont "spring a leak" but I think they lack absorption and act more as a plug. I play a lot of sports and did not have a problem until replacing one (very messy). Sorry to gross anyone out....just want to be honest.

I have always had some sensitivity, even pain, due to other tampons. The Seventh Generation tampons don't have anything in it that will cause any harm
and they work really great. I like that it doesn't have an applicator, so it's kinder to the environment. I'm just sorry that I didn't find them sooner.

Comparable to Natracare brand but much less expensive. No complaints! Very comfortable. I just wish Amazon offered them in smaller lots. What am I going to do with TWELVE boxes of tampons, all in the same size?!?
