alcon unique ph lens cleaner April 7, 2008
I just purchase Alcon Unique PH cleaning gas permeable lens. I really like it because there seem to be less chemicals and it doesn't cause me eye irration like the other products do. Also my eye doctor recommend it for sensitve eyes. Thanks Goldfinger50

Had difficulty finding this product in my area. Was delighted when I went on line and found that Amazon.com had this product. Have a rare eye disease and this is the only product my eye doctor wanted me to use. Product is great and I had no idea that Amazon carried it until I searched on line. Way to go Amazon!

Alcon Unique pH Multi-Purpose Solution for Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lenses, 3-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) -- I have been wearing rigid contact lenses for 43 years, and this is THE best cleaning/soaking solution I have ever found. I have been using Unique PH for many years after it was recommended by my eye doctor. It's so easy and reliable. One solution does it all -- cleaning, soaking and conditioning -- for clear, comfortable wear, even in dry weather! It's not always easy to find Unique PH in stores, so I'm happy that Amazon.com continues to sell it online!!

This is the best RGP lens solution ever made, period. But, it's been discontinued by Alcon because RGP's share of the contact lens market has declined, and apparently Alcon can't sell the volume it needs to make money.
Please, Alcon, reconsider this decision. Charge more if you must, but please bring this back.

As a gas perm contact wearer, I agree with the other reviewers on this product. It is the least sticky, goopy,etc. of the other products on the market. I wish they were not discontinuing it. Good stuff!
