I'm only a month and a half into using this product so I haven't seen any results yet, nor would I expect to. The chemical smell mentioned in some of the other reviews is not noticeable to me except during application, but my girlfriend did complain about it so I have to be careful not to apply it before I see her or before I go out. Before bed or before work is fine.

This product is easy to apply and is the best minoxidil product I've found. I'm pretty sensitive to scented products so I tried this with much reservation... yes it definitely has an unpleasant smell that is minimal after blow-drying hair. Bottom line is that all the other minoxidil based products result in unacceptable visual appearance of your hair if applied after washing your hair. I blow-dry my hair daily and this product also adds volume to the appearance of my hair. Not sure why they can't produce a non-oily minoxidil product that you can spray on wet or dry hair that does not effect the condition of your hair... doesn't seem like rocket-science. Until then, do yourself a favor and try this. I'm 48 male, experiencing hair loss for 15 years. Bottom line, its the best of the bunch...

I thought that this highly advertised product would turn into the product I need to get back to my college days when I did well with the ladies. I tried several things in conjuntion. I went to the gym, stopped eating poorly, and bought a new car. After trying this rogain for several weeks my girlfriend suggested that I try to put some on my head as a topical lotion instead of drinking it. A novel approach indeed. Sadly after several weeks of running to the bathroom it was an idea long comming. All I can say is that I feel so much better. Time will tell if this new approach actually works. But for guys like me who have lost all hope of ever having that Carrie Underwood type hair it is worth a try.

This product is wonderful, it really makes my hair grow again. You must use it with Finasteride to get better results. I don't loose hair anymore, and Rogaine made my head have much more hair than without it.
