For $40.00, this is an excellent electric razor. It is comfortable and shaves very close. The trimmer is very good. The only bad thing I can say about this razor is that it is very loud. It works well on charge and with the cord attached. The washable head is a nice feature.

Why did I wait so long to replace my trusty Remington? The Braun has a great feel while using it, and does a terrific job, definitely a high-quality product. I'm still getting used to the trimmer; I have a beard and moustache, and the shape of the shaver is different from my previous one. I only looked at one shaver (trimmer a necessity), and feel that any more time looking would have been wasted.

Are we talking about the same shaver here? The long and short of it is that it simply does NOT shave. I'm not talking about closeness (i.e. it shaves but not closely). I'm talking about 1/4" whiskers all over the face.

Good Idea July 8, 2008
Best feature is the tap water clean up. You can still brush clean if you wish but, why bother when water wash is faster, complete, and no mess.

Am a blade man during the week, but on weekends I go electric! Have used older Norelcos and Brauns in the past, none has ever provided as close a shave as this beauty! For the price, I don't think you can go wrong!
