 Hurts and ineffective September 7, 2008

I was excited about this product from all the reviews. Unfortunately it just doesn't work on my nose hairs. Plus it hurts and pulls my hair. Ouch! Not sure why my experience is so different from other people. I'm still searching for the best way to trim my nose hairs. Haven't found it yet...

This product is very durable and works very well. I know my husband will be using it for years. My only criticism is that it has a lousy plastic case that it came in--its a tube with a plastic lid. This is a small product and I am concerned that it will get lost somewhere. A nice case or leather holder would make it easier to keep track of it and would preserve it better. Other than that, it is terrific and a great value.

I have owned 4 electric nose hair trimmers over the years. One came from a company that proclaimed it to be the best. Another came from The Sharper Image - they also raved about their piece of junk. Another, my most recent, was a Conair - another cheaply made device that died very early in its brief career.
A bit over a week ago, I found myself searching for another unit on Amazon. I had hopes that perhaps a company had finally designed a unit that actually worked for more than a few weeks. I came across this beauty which was relatively inexpensive with an offer of free shipping. I ordered it, it arrived quickly, and I am quite impressed with the unit. This is the best nose and ear trimer in the world. The only maintence you will have to do it is none. It will last a life time.

I've gone through various nose hair trimmers and none come close to the Groom Mate. It is extremely well made and I believe that it will last me a lifetime assuming I don't lose it. Best part: no more batteries, no fiddling with fragile nose hair trimmers that break so easily, no pulling or tearing hairs and no pain whatsoever.
