Great bag, if it fits you right. August 13, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for all my gear and it fits! I was able to put in my: Sony Camcorder, Canon SD750, Canon G9, underwater housing for the two cameras, and 2 lenses for the G9. I thought the bag was comfortable, but my husband thought it was too small for him. I'm 5'6" / average and he's 5'11 / 260lbs, with broad shoulders.
I would suggest taking off the Canon logo on the bag just to deter theft.
Fits everything you'll need! August 10, 2008 This camera bag fits my digital frame, my macro lens, my standard lens, and everything else I could possibly need when I am out shooting. I definitely recommend this bag to everyone!
Great price, but you get what you pay for. August 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was excited when I saw this bag, as I wanted a way to carry my equipment to the top of Yosemite Falls without having to use my shoulder bag. Well, the Canon backpack did deliver on that promise.
The bag holds a wide variety of camera equipment, lenses, and other stuff. It has many pockets for accessories, and the equipment is easy to access. Also, the pockets in the main storage area are re-configurable so you can change the shapes to fit custom lens sizes or camera backs.
The zippers are POOR. If you zip them up so that both zipper handles are at the top of th pack (for easy access), they unzip on their own. I have had the back literally open itself up and spill contents out without my realizing it. You can keep this from happening by zipping it all the way over onto one side, but you should not have to do that.
Also, the materials are shoddy. The nylon is stiff and cheap, the zipper handles are poorly designed (one handle "tassle" broke off the day I got the pack), and the strap "grabbers" on the side will pull out if I attach anything to them that has soem mass to it (like a tripod).
One last thing. The way that the shoulder straps are designed, the backpack slides off and dies not sit well on long hikes.
The is CLEARLY a pack that was designed by a cheap company and Canon put its logo on to sell it as their own. The pack is VERY VERY cheap. But if you need a quick pack that is inexpensive and arrives fast, then it may be worth the price. Just don't use it much, and don't expect it to last very long.
Canon Backpack August 10, 2008 Even though I have just started getting interested in Photography I have acquired 4 lens, several filters, chargers, batteries, and I even kept my P&S; this case has room for all of this and more. It is light weight but padded enough to protect your investment. My only wish is that it had wheels! I would definately recommend it to others and already have. This is a quality product and a great price too!
Great camera bag! August 9, 2008 I bought this bag to hold my Canon EOS body and 3 lenses. It is great not to have to carry around my camera case and separate lens cases. It also has handy pockets to store accessories (computer cable, remote control, etc.) A great bag, I'm very happy with this purchase!
