Great unit, but it has a couple features that I would expect.
The key beep is annoying and I would like the ability to turn it off. When a weather alert occurs it does not display which county code it applies to.

Easy set up, Not as many alerts when you narrow down the area. Quite happy with the unit.

This is a great weather radio and very easy to program once you read the directions. I've had several storms in my area and it works flawlessly. I really liked the idea of scanning only counties that I want and also warning and watches can be customized for whatever pertains to your area. The price was great and I'd order the exact same one again if something happened to it. It gives me a secure feeling to know that in the middle of the night I'd be warned of inclement weather.Bad storms can strike at anytime so I would encourage everyone to have one of these in their home.

This is our 2nd Midland Weather Radio we have purchased. The second went to our cabin where it is hard to find a weather station. We love the volume control. We are lite sleepers and don't need a loud siren that stops your heart when it goes off. We also like that you can set it to your specific county. Then it isn't going off contantly when bad weather moves through the state. Great product.

This is a very nice alarm clock/ weather radio. Here in Nebraska we have had the worst spring in years....Very bad weather. So, I purchased this to protect my family....
Since purchasing it we have not had one storm....I made the weather change by this purchase.
It really is a great unit.....Now I need some bad weather...
