Works in my pocket or on my belt. As with all pedometers, you MUST measure your strides correctly and follow all instructions.

I've only had the Omron HJ-112 a short while, but I am very pleased with it. It was easy to set up, unlike some pedometers. I has very accurately measured my steps with the pedometer tucked away inside my pants pocket, this is much, much, more convenient than having to wear it on my waistband/belt.
I highly recommend the HJ-112.

Seems to be pretty accurate. At times it will not register your steps but then after walking a bit will jump ahead and "catch up". This was confusing at first, but now I have the hang of it and I enjoy watching my steps rack up during my day!
