| Customer Reviews:
This is a great product May 9, 2008 I read in one of the fitness magazines that this was the number one rated pedometer so I bought it. I absolutely love it. It is acurate and easy to use. I can just slip it in my pocket and secure it to my belt loop. This is one of the few pedometers that I found that you don't have to wear on your belt loop and it is so much easier to just slip in your pocket. For the few times that I have worn pants without a pocket I use the belt clip that comes with it.
This Pedometer is Excellent and Worth Every Penny May 9, 2008 Great pedometer, easy to use, excellent range of functions. I am just a casual walker and step counter. So not an expert by any means. Most cheaper pedometers break quickly and are more limited in their function. You can track a variety of measures easily and it records your recent totals through out the week. I also like the automatic reset.
Maybe I got an older model.... May 8, 2008 But this pedometer does not deserve all the rave reviews it gets here. I bought this particular model because it wasn't too pricey and it got great reviews. I found out that it doesn't accurately count the footsteps. I wear it in my pocket and sometimes when I take it out, it will jump 10-20 steps. I have to handle it very carefully. I use this for it's "ballpark" accuracy. As in it will give you a "ballpark number" of steps you have walked.
PEDOMTER May 8, 2008 I like the way it works but did take some time setting up and I think it should have a turn off switch. It does not!! otherwise works very well
Finally! A pedometer that works! May 8, 2008 I have purchased 5 pedometers to date not including the little 'free' ones that sometimes accompany a book. They were all hard to set up, none were accurate, and they all 'skipped' or 'missed' and sometimes after a good long walk you would have no reading at all! I was disappointed in all brands and it didn't matter how much money was spent. This Omron is by far the best, easiest to set up and use, and VERY accurate! I love it and hardly notice it on my waist. Thank you for making something that works and is WELL worth the small dollar amount spent.
