 One of the best things I bought July 2, 2008
I bought one of these back in March and it is one of the best things I ever did. It showed how much I was actually walking, when I had thought I was walking more. It helped me set a goal and I have been sticking to it as I have a visual to look at everyday.
2 years and still going strong July 1, 2008
I purchased my HJ-112 in Feb '06. In that time I've walked well over a million steps, dropped it (I, stupidly, don't use the strap) on the ground, even dropped it in the toilet once, and it just keeps running! I can't complain about the battery life. Sure, Omron states it at 1 year and I only get about 10 but... who cares?! It's not dying every other month like some. I've had to replace the batteries twice. That's it. I'm greatly considering getting another one, though, because mine has become very ugly from my abuse.
The clip is very well designed, I rarely have trouble keeping it clipped on my clothing. The accuracy is very good, better than other pedometers I've tried in the past. I don't know what I'd do without my trusty sidekick :) He keeps me on track!

This is a great product that works beyond my expectations. Finding a pedometer that can tell you the distance you have walked and the amount of calories you have burned based on your weight is hard to find. But not in this one. I bought one for both myself and my mother and we keep it with us at all times and constantly go for walks daily without wondering how far we have walked. Definately a must have pedometer for the features and the price.

I have owned a few pedometers in the past but this is the best. It tracks steps, aerobic steps, miles and calories and it automatically resets itself at midnight. My last pedometer reset itself when I bent over. Yuk!! It keeps a 7 day history so it acts like a coach to keep you on track.
I can also carry it in my purse so it's not apparent when I am wearing non-work-out clothes.
I love it.

Very good product. clip it on your belt, put it in your pocket, wherever. lightweight and very user friendly.
