5 out of 5 stars Make a good thing better !   July 10, 2008
A nice lcd screen brings the movie experience to your home.By adding a HDMI cable to connect your TV and dvd player or other source simply elevates the experience both visually and audibly!

5 out of 5 stars Hard to pass up for a measly $2   July 9, 2008

I didn't really need another HDMI cable, but for $2 it was hard to pass up. I thought I did good when I bought a couple HDMI cables from Monoprice for $6 each.

There isn't really much to say about this cable except that it works.

Don't drink the boutique cable Kool-Aid, especially for digital cables. Digital cables either work or they don't. There is no inbetween.

4 out of 5 stars good hdmi, but not as reliable using 1080p full hd   July 8, 2008

This cable is very good, It is a digital signal, so there is little to no loss of signal. However, it does not have higher bandwidth to support full 1080p. So it isn't that reliable trying to display 1080p at 60 hz or higher images on the TV. Don't get me wrong, it does display 1080p images. You can play Blue ray disk at 1080p at 24 Hz with little to no problems. But if you want to play games or display images of 60 Hz or higher, This cable may not be right for you. The screen flickers and turns blank for a while and sometime come back on, but it is not as stable as 1.3v hdmi versions. For people with low-end HD TVs that has a HDMI, or TV that doesn't need full 60hz or high refresh rate, This cable would do the job. If you want to play Games on you PS3 with FULL HD 1080p at 60 hz or higher, you probably need a newer version cable.

5 out of 5 stars Right stuff at the right price   July 8, 2008

Read other reviews about not wasting your money for overpriced HDMI
cables. They were right. Bought this and a 25 foot cable for another
hook up. Both are great. You have two choices, spend a lot or a little
for the same results. I have two cables and money in my wallet for
another purchase.
