 Best MP3 adapter I have found August 14, 2008
With this adapter there is no static at all. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the on/off switch for the FM modulator. I was able to hide the switch in an unseen area of the car to avoid any tacky appearances or holes in the dash.

This is so much better than what they are selling in stores. This gets connected directly to your antenna so no white noise like all the other imitations. I would recommend this product over and over again!
Perfect solution for MP3 + factory radio June 30, 2008
Living in Los Angeles, I didn't want to install an aftermarket stereo because of theft, but the stock stereo in my Accord didn't have an auxiliary input. I tried a battery-operated FM transmitter for my mp3 player, but with all the other radio stations in our area, it was constantly getting interference. This FM modulator was a relatively easy install (on par with any other car stereo work) and has great sound. Don't expect CD quality sound, because after all it won't be better than you can get over FM radio. The level is a little quiet, so you need to turn up your mp3 player. Overall, a great buy to easily add an auxiliary jack to any car stereo!

Despite some other reviews, you will still get some static, as you do with all radio frequencies, but the modulator is at least twice as good as any transmitter. I paid about $30 US to have it installed at a local shop, and it sounds pretty good, but not "crystal clear". I find it actually works best with the volume around 40%, but it is best to experiment and find what works best for you. If you listen to rock, some heavy guitar riffs get muffled and distorted, but it handles most frequencies well. The modulator is a good purchase for anyone who wants a low cost way to get a good sound from the ipod in the car.

great product great sound not perfectly clear but a lot better that ANY fm transmitter.
works very good with my iphone the only bad thing is a stattic noise once a while when I connect my iPhone to it but all you have to do is set it up to airplane mode. Also works great with iPod nano.
