Good Antenna July 8, 2008 The antenna works well approx. 65 miles north of Atlanta Ga. with cabin in the mountains. Connected to DTV convertor box picks up 13 channels and all major networks.
Good product for the price June 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This antenna claims to reach out into the blue zone, but I have trouble getting it to get channels in the red. Otherwise, the antenna captures almost all of the channels I need, and I'm 30+ miles from the nearest broadcast antennas.

I ordered this antenna with the hope of not only having a neat installation but a good solid digital signal for some channels 20miles away. I am happy with the unit, its performance and ease of installation. The flexible mounting parts are a nice touch and it looks as if it will stand up to the winds we get here.
I was getting about 60-65% signal strength on a digital sub channel (21-2 here in the Colo Springs area that carries the RTN network with a UHF indoor antenna. It looked like rectangular BBQ grill with 2 bowties in front-not exactly pretty. Most of the time it would not come in as the signal strength was at the border line. With digital reception- it either works or doesn't, there is no "snowy picture" like analog- you may get pixilation and the picture will just go off. I have the Antenna mounted on side of house pointed directly (in line of site) with the transmitter on Cheyenne Mtn. The antenna is quite directional- so its really great if you are getting most of your channels from the same direction. It would have to be turned by a rotator motor if you are planning to try for channels in various directions. Now the signal strength is 85% and others that were 80-85% before are now pegging the meter at 100+ (as measured by my DISH digital OTA tuner section) BTW it worked almost as good inside the house pointed the same direction. One disappointment, a week after I bought it from Amazon, they dropped the price. I am going to write them about that. UPDATE- within an hour Amazon wrote back and since the price was lowered within 30 days of purchase, I have been refunded the difference..great! That is good service!
works okay. May 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to replace a Terk TV55 that couldn't receive a strong enough signal to get one DTV station in our area. All the transmitters are located in the same direction here, so this works fine. It's mounted in the attic and pulls in the one station that I couldn't get with the TV55. If the transmitters in your area aren't all in the same direction from your house, this isn't the antenna for you. Also, our transmitters are only 15 miles away, so I can't comment on how it'd work at greater distances.
Very pleased with this antenna May 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I live outside Boston (I would estimate 20-30 miles from the transmitters). I purchased this antenna and mounted it in my unfinished attic (I have a 2 story house, so the antenna is probably 20-30' off ground level). I am able to pick up all signals up to blue with 100% signal strength. I haven't yet checked it during a heavy rain storm or other bad weather.
I have set the antenna up with a short piece of coax (RG-6) connecting to the amplifier. More coax run to my basement to a powered splitter. From there, distributed to my TV (Panny TH-50PZ85U) and eventually to my 2 HP HTPCs, though I haven't connected this up yet.
Keep in mind, this antenna is directional, so it needs to be pointed pretty close to the right direction.
