Toshiba number pad September 4, 2007 Excellent keypad, and I love the fact that it has two extra USB ports, though they're only 1.0 instead of 2.0. Exactly what I wanted for a great price.
Very nice little keypad August 16, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for my wife who has a Toshiba laptop, and she couldn't be happier with this keypad. She does a lot of data entry, and this keypad is comfortable to use, has a similar feel as her Toshiba laptop keyboard, and it's very easy to install. Just plug into a USB port and it works.
I highly recommend this keypad.
Strange warning about lead in box August 15, 2007 6 out of 15 found this review helpful
The keypad itself seems fine. But the box mine came in contained an "important product information" sheet that said that this product was known to the state of California to contain lead, and in particular that "handling the cord" would expose the user to lead, and that hands should be washed after touching.
????!?!?!?!?
Of course, it's made in China. Edit: I sent it back today. With small children in the house and all the recent China/lead/poison news, this is not staying.
Skinny Zeroes and a Weak Hub July 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My only issue with this product is that the zero key is tiny. It's the same size as the other keys, instead of being wider, as on a standard keyboard. The space left is filled with a "000" key. I'm sure that new key is very useful to some people, but not for me. I find myself repeatedly hitting it instead of the zero key, and then i have to backspace twice.
As for the apparent quality of the constitution of this product, it seems great. The keys feel durable, comfortable, and responsive. It matches my Toshiba laptop perfectly, too.
My only other complaint is that the USB Hub doesn't put through enough power for my mouse, or, actually, any of the devices I've tried. I've got plenty of USB ports on my laptop, though, so I'm not too concerned about that. Some people might be very dissatisfied with that, though.
Just what I wanted at a very good price May 13, 2007 My home computer is a laptop. I'm learning 10-key online (for free... Google it!) and I can do 10-key with my desktop computer at work, so I got this cool little accessory and my laptop "recognized" it less than a minute after I hooked it up, and I used it to do my taxes last month. The two additional USB ports are a plus.
