NOT a good product June 13, 2008 I used it once to walk on the beach and it seemed to be fairly accurate, however, the reset button is stuck and I have not been able to clear it and have never used it again. A big waste of money!

Hinge breaks easily December 21, 2007 The hinge on this pedometer just broke-I have had it for a year. I have another pedometer I used at the same time as this one and found the Sportline not to be accurate. Also, It tends to fall off your belt very easily. I wouldn't buy another one.
The original Sportline 345 works better--keep your money March 14, 2007 I bought this pedometer on sale at Sears. I put it on, walked out to my car, drove to a restaurant to eat and walked back out to the car...according to this pedometer, I had already accumulated over 1000 steps just from the short trip to and from the car. Apparently this thing counts steps with every move I make...so the idea of wearing it all day is only effective if you plan to be on your feet walking all day (like a nurse) not sitting at a desk-job and taking the long way to the bathroom in hopes of accumulating extra steps. I tested it by setting it to zero and sitting at my desk...periodically reaching over to open drawers and such.... The old Sportline 345 would only count the steps after you made 5 consecutive steps, so moving around in a car or seat would not count...although neither would taking only 1-2 steps at a time...but I'd rather the count be a little short than way over because then I could get 10,000 steps just by putting everything on my desk just beyond my reach! (It's also much bulkier than the original...I returned it).
Good Basic Pedometer October 23, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good Points: Opens with display readable while attached to your waistband. Spring clip is much better than the folded plastic type. Good accuracy if you set it correctly. Not So Good: Hinge broke - but I do wear it everyday and had been for about 4 months...and it still works fine without the hinge - it just detaches to read now, and easily re-attaches. Distance is off if you don't change the stride between walking & running.
OK but reset button was too sensitive July 7, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got this one since the cheap one my comany was giving out was worn out. It recorded steps accurately, but if I moved wrong and it the reset button, I would loose all my information. Decided to buy a Omron HJ112 to replace it.
