Addicted to Kindle!!! August 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
An amazing product, which has brought joy again to both my professional and leisure reading. I look to the future, and Kindle's is great! I recommend Stephen Wind's 100 Kindle Tips to maximize utilization of your Kindle.

HOW ABOUT LED TECHNOLOGY FOR BACKLIGHTING??? August 18, 2008 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This product is as promissed great! The only imporvement would be to integrate LED technology to backlight the screen for light time reading.
Amazon Kindle August 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this product, its easy to use and you can get almost any book wireless-ly downloded in a matter of seconds. I like the fact that you can preview a book before you buy it, and that the wireless reader is easy to set up and use. I don't like the fact that the Kindle doesn't come with a better protector and always fall out of it.
Great for Books in English August 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like the Kindle for all the reasons mentioned by so many: the instant downloads and free samples, the reference features - a favorite, since I like to look up words, but don't always feel like picking up the dictionary, etc. My one disappointment came when I tried to send a book in Russian to my Kindle, which did not work. Apparently, the Kindle does not support non-ASCII texts. This is very unfortunate, and I was forced to get the Sony PRS505 just so I am able to read the usually heavy tomes in a small convenient format. Otherwise, I much prefer the Kindle to the Sony, which offers none of the interesting features of the Kindle, so if English is the only language in which you read, get the Kindle. (You may wish to get the nicer leather cover, though, as the one that comes with it is pretty cheap.)
