 Not a good product October 3, 2008
This product didn't perform up to any average expectations. I recieved this item on 8/26, used it for about 10 times and it died. It was dead within a month of purchasing this. Buyer beware. The cord was so loose. It kept popping out of the laptop everytime. Just a pure waste of my time and money
Short term solution September 13, 2008
I have purchased two of these charger cords. The first one lasted 2 weeks and the plug in part came apart. The second one lasted a month before something electrical inside the main battery part fried. These do not last long and look like they have been patched worked together. Spend the money on the one made for your laptop, we could have already bought one by now :(

Worst online purchase ever!!! DO NOT EVER BUY THIS........
In 4 weeks the charger is gone. I have to also jiggle the cord, since the wires inside the cord were broken.The quality of wires used is so bad that in 4 weeks they broke.
DO YOU WANT TO SCREW YOUR BATTERY, THEN BUY IT!! My battery used to get charged perfectly fine with original TOSHIBA's charger, but this charger never charged my battery. Laptop is for mobile computing right? I have to switch off and then on my laptop when ever i move. SO MY LAPTOP TURNED INTO A DESKTOP :(
And now my BATTERY IS GONE !!! BUY THIS BAD PRODUCT? NOT EVEN FOR FREE !!
In 6 weeks, wires were finally broken at both ends of adapter.
Also worthless after four months. Save your money August 31, 2008

I was extremely disappointed by this product. Like everybody else has said, the shipment and the price were right, but the quality is all wrong. I purchased this in April of 2008, and by the end of August, it no longer works without having to jiggle and manipulate the position of the cord. It doesn't charge the computer while i'm using it, so I constantly have to turn my computer off for it to charge back up, which means that I can basically never unplug my computer. It lasted just a little over four months, and that doesn't mean without trouble. The casing revealed wires at the base of the adaptor after only a month or two. I had to wrap them in electrical tape. The jack that connects to the computer went next.
I would say save your money and invest in a higher quality product. Sure, there is a year-warranty, but even if they are true to their word, i'll have another product that will only last four or so more months before I have to invest in another. Not worth the time or the hassle.

The other reviews are absolutely right. It did come in a very timely manner from the company--no complaints there. But within 2 months the black cord cover came off in two different places, and I have to constantly readjust the position of the cord and jiggle it to get it to charge the battery or even run the laptop. Now I have to try to find another replacement cord somewhere....
