I love the Garmin nuvi 660 4.3 inch widescreen bluetooth portable GPS. I can see the map easily as I drive the voice directions are announced in a loud clear voice that is easily understood. Should I have to take a detour it quickly reroutes me. It is easy to operate. It fits right into my purse so I can take it with me.
Great upgrade from streetpilot 330c! December 23, 2007
I replaced my Streetpilot 330c. This was a great upgrade. Eaiser to see screen, Faster satelite reception, Has a cool browse map that lets your finger move about the screen. I like the FM transmitter feature along with the bluetooth.(makes the hands free feature easy to make and recieve calls.) Lighter in weight than the 330c, so with the use of the vent mount I bought separatly It sits and stays in position much better. It comes with a handy case and is small enough fit in your coat pocket. The lock feature is nice too, only thing is if some dumb idiot steals it, they won't be able to use it, but would probably take it any way because they'd be too stupid to see (or read) the anti theft sticker that comes with it. It comes with a free 3 month subscription to travel alert. If you live in a busy city, it would be worth it, but for me it's not useful. Overall, I would highly recommend the nuvi 660!
Definitely something to have in the car December 23, 2007
My wife had been talking about getting one for a while. I was reluctant thought I could do it alone. But you really are blessed when you get one. It has so many uses. Hands free phone option alone is great. Getting directions works so well. Looking for certain restaurants in the area is great. It even tells you the expected time of arrival and constantly adjusts to the traffic conditions.I'm sure there are more functions it can perform but I haven't discovered them as yet. There was a need to download some software upgrades, I called the 800 number explained the problem and the tech walked me through the job right over the phone and made it very simple. Very professional and easy to contact thank you Garmin.

Bought this for my son who began a new job in an unfamiliar area. He visits many establishments each day and appreciates how this Garmin 660 has simplified his work.

It is easy to use and super helpful when traveling outside of familiar areas. Would highly recommend to new users and those who like gagets too.
