I bought my new toy about 2 months ago. This was the first expensive gadget that I bought that my wife did not complain about. In fact she borrowed it to drive a friend to Philadelphia. We took a trip to Boston recently and the Garmin save us a lot of grief by bypassing a few road construction on RTE 95. It also didn't present any problems driving in Boston where there are a lot of tall buildings. As for night driving, the large screen and night time back ground made visibility very good.
Now I am a real man, never ask directions!!!!!

After a lot of research I decided to settle on the Nuvi 660. I was NOT dissapointed. This little box is flawless. Great GPS capability (took some tweaking with the traffic settings but now is great); Bluetooth is great; MP3 is good but less than CD quality when output to FM. Overall 5 stars. You can't go wrong with this device!

I did a LOT of research before I purchased the nuvi 660. All the reviews indicated that this was the one to buy. Even then, because of the steep price, I didn't make the purchase until a friend bought one and I could see it in action. After that it was a no brainer. Amazon's price was the best I could find and a couple of days later I had my very own nuvi 660 up and running. This device is every bit as good as the factory installed nav system in my wife's 2007 Camry - and that system is top notch. After I played with it for a few days I found that there are a number of web sites dedicated to creating custom POI files that can be loaded into this (or other) GPS nav units. I have now tried a couple (all the Lowe's stores and all the major highway rest stops are now loaded in my nuvi 660). Just completed a three state road trip and this thing works like a charm! If you buy one (or other similar device) and are trying to figure out a better way to mount it than just stick it to the windshield, do a search on Panavise custom mounts.

When the GPS arrived I pulled out of the box, charged the unit, installed it in my car and was off and running. This has to be the most user friendly unit I have ever purchased. Typed in my address to work and hit the road. I travel 48 miles to work each day and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this GPS to everyone.

Great product. Addresses not updated to new (6mo old) stores in the area. I guess that they will soon... Overall a good product.
